Ex-Make-A-Wish CEO chosen to lead community foundation

Paula Van Ness, who also has served as CEO of the Starlight Children's Foundation and COO of the Peter G. Peterson Foundation in New York, was chosen after a nationwide search.

In a prepared statement, Van Ness said community foundations "represent the most exciting and dynamic dimension of philanthropy today," and that she looks forward to helping it take its next steps.
