House set to vote on bill to thwart airline delays

>> good morning, savannah. by washington standards this is pretty fast action, after days of anger from air travelers stuck by those delays and loud complaints to congress from business groups like the hotel and tourism industry , furious that the economy would be hard hit if gridlock in the skies continued so the senate came up with a deal late last night that gives the secretary of transportation flexibility to keep all the air traffic controllers on the job. now there's no extra money here in the budget but instead of those required across the board cuts they can prioritize spending and take money from let's say airport improvements to keep controllers working. this is a band-aid fix. the white house had originally been against giving any agency special treatment, hoping that congress would roll back all the spending cuts so there's been a lot of blame game over these cuts but this move is expected to ease some of the hassles of flying. savannah?
